Celebrating Excellence: Intero Honors Event Recognizes Top Agents and Special Award Recipients
On March 24, 2026, Intero, a wholly owned subsidiary of HomeServices of America, Inc., hosted its annual Honors event at Levi’s Stadium in Cupertino, California. This highly anticipated gathering celebrated the outstanding achievements of individual agents and teams for the year 2025, marking a cherished tradition within the Intero community.
Terry Meyer, Founder and President of Intero, emphasized the significance of the event, stating, "Intero Honors is a powerful celebration of our entire community, where we come together to recognize the collective contributions of our agents and staff, and to honor those whose dedication to their clients has translated into extraordinary achievement." The event highlighted the remarkable performances of 20 individual agents and teams in the Chairman’s Circle, 66 in the President’s Circle, and 90 in the Executive’s Circle.
Special Awards: Recognizing Exceptional Contributions
In addition to the production awards, several special accolades were presented to individuals and teams who have made significant impacts within the organization. The Denise Pearson Award, which honors an Intero Foundation Ambassador for exceptional service, was awarded to Samantha. Stephanie Hicks, President of the Intero Foundation, expressed gratitude for Samantha’s year-round dedication to creative marketing and outreach efforts.
The prestigious Bob Kaufman Value Award was presented by Gino Blefari, former CEO of HomeServices of America, to Eddie Oberoi. Known for his role as a trusted advisor, leader, and mentor, Eddie has not only supported his clients but has also been instrumental in guiding his colleagues and fellow agents. His commitment to philanthropy was further highlighted as he was recognized as the Intero Foundation’s Top Contributor for the sixth consecutive year, having donated over $200,000 to the Foundation.
Honoring Legacy: The Mia Park Leadership Award
In a touching tribute, the Intero Leadership Award was renamed in honor of Mia Park, who dedicated over 22 years to Intero in various roles, including leading the relocation department and serving as Broker of Record. This year, the Mia Park Leadership Award was presented to Derek Overbey, Intero’s Vice President of Marketing. Meyer remarked on the qualities that Mia embodied, stating, "Derek embodies those same qualities across our organization, and there is no one more deserving to carry her legacy forward."
Induction into the Intero Hall of Fame
The event also saw the induction of Trang Dunlap and Jason Pham into the Intero Hall of Fame. Rishi Bakshi, Manager of the Fremont office, praised their unwavering commitment, stating, "These two amazing people and professionals have consistently shown up year after year—through every type of market, every challenge, every shift in our industry." Their dedication to helping families achieve homeownership and navigating complex transactions exemplifies the values that Intero stands for.
