The Times of India Film Awards (TOIFA) 2025: Celebrating Excellence in Indian Entertainment

The process begins with a nomination shortlist curated by a 35-member Screening Jury, which includes filmmakers, actors, writers, casting directors, studio executives, and film critics. This shortlist is then vetted by an esteemed TOIFA Advisory Council, featuring industry experts such as Siddharth Roy Kapur, Guneet Monga Kapoor, Shoojit Sircar, Nikkhil Advani, Rajkumar Hirani, Sameer Nair, Sonu Nigam, Ajay-Atul, Raveena Tandon, and Kabir Khan.
Finally, the TOIFA Academy, which includes representatives from the Indian Motion Pictures Producers Association (IMPPA), Indian Film & TV Producers Council (IFTPC), The Indian Performing Right Society (IPRS), and the Indian Film and Television Directors’ Association (IFTDA), brings their deep industry knowledge and perspective to the voting process.
